Prior to launching IMPACT, Christine was a senior HR executive and Operations leader for a luxury Hotel Management company and a 20,000 person Resort Operations company. She also managed the opening and ongoing operation of a $4.5 million retail store in Whistler with a team of over 60. Christine’s vision is to grow Impact People Practices into THE trusted adviser to go to for all things related to “HR of the Future”. She is doing that by bringing together a team of experts in Coaching, Technology, Social Media and Branding, as well as a network of talented HR professionals to make the jump from people to results.
Jeff Waldman- New Product Development
Jeff is a senior HR strategist who integrates web technology into traditional HR solutions. His work emphasis is on social recruiting, employer branding, employee engagement, performance management, rewards and recognition, emotional intelligence and talent management. He is an avid blogger, speaker, organizer, relationship builder, connector and philanthropist. He sits on the Board of Directors for PACE Independent Living and the Sauder Business Club of Toronto (Professional Development Chair) and has volunteered as an adviser with Ability Online and the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association. After finding Impact People Practices on the web, Jeff and Christine knew they could combine their talents- they split a plane ticket for Jeff to come to spend two days in Vancouver to brainstorm with Christine. Melanie-Ann Bitner- Branding and Design
Melanie Anne Bitner is a freelance designer, a writer and an artist with seventeen years in communication design, branding and strategy. Her clients have included cities, museums, government and many corporations and small businesses. She is also a long-term student of world-renown Emily Carr University of Art & Design with a passion for creating in many mediums. Melanie is the creator of a website called BetterWorldForWomen.com and is passionate about inspiring joy and enriching beauty in her world on many levels. She is thrilled to work with Impact People Practices and the Impact 99 team and finds great inspiration and reward in the HR arena.
